Institut Sainte-Thérèse welcomes its pupils every day in Bagira (Sud-Kivu). Like other schools followed by EduCheck, it has an Integrity Club: student monitors trained by the Anti-Corruption Research Centre (CERC) to observe their school with a shared questionnaire, report problems on EduCheck and talk with those in charge until they are solved.
The problem
On 29 December 2025, the Integrity Club reported the following problem at Institut Sainte-Thérèse: lessons given by unqualified teachers.
The quality of teaching depends first on qualified teachers being in front of the pupils.

- Advocacy
The result
The fix was recorded on 26 February 2026, 59 days after the report.
